We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer for a hybrid position based in Menands, NY. Government experience is a plus.

Position Details:

Key Requirements:

  • Front End Development:
    • ASP.Net Core: Strong experience in developing applications using ASP.Net Core framework.
    • JavaScript & jQuery: Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery for enhancing user interactivity.
    • HTML5 & CSS/SCSS/LESS: Knowledge of modern HTML5 and CSS frameworks, including preprocessors.
    • Bootstrap: Familiarity with Bootstrap for responsive design.
    • Third-party Controls: Experience with third-party UI controls like Telerik or Infragistics.
    • Razor Pages: Proficient in using Razor Pages for server-side rendering.
    • AJAX: Ability to implement AJAX for asynchronous web requests.
  • Middleware Development:
    • .Net Core & C#: Expertise in developing middleware applications using .NET Core and C#.
    • Entity Framework Core: Proficient in using Entity Framework Core for data access.
    • Web API: Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful Web APIs.
    • LINQ: Proficiency in using LINQ for data querying.
    • XML & JSON: Familiarity with XML and JSON data formats for data interchange.
    • Swagger: Knowledge of using Swagger for API documentation.
  • Containerization:
    • Docker: Experience with Docker and Docker Desktop for containerization.
  • Cloud Technologies:
    • Azure Services: Knowledge of Azure services such as Azure App Insights, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Redis Cache, and Azure Blob Storage/File Share.
  • Code Management:
    • Version Control: Proficient in using Git/TFS for source code management.
    • DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery.
  • Unit Testing:
    • Testing Frameworks: Experience with XUnit or NUnit for unit testing.
    • Test Case Development: Ability to write comprehensive unit test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Project Management Tools:
    • Jira: Experience using Jira for project management and tracking.
