Are you a seasoned Java Backend Developer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the heart of Texas? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team in Irving. Here’s what the role entails:
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java. Your expertise in Java will be crucial in enhancing our existing applications and building new features.
- Integration: Work on integrating Node.js services with the Java backend to create a robust, efficient system that supports high concurrency and data integrity.
- Performance Optimization: Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks in our applications. Your role will involve optimizing code for speed and scalability.
- API Development: Craft RESTful APIs that are clean, maintainable, and efficient. Your work will directly impact the functionality and user experience of our platforms.
- Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive solutions that align with business goals.
- Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. You’ll be responsible for the robustness of the software from development to deployment.
- Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge of best practices in Java and Node.js.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Over 5 years of experience in Java development, with a deep understanding of Java EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. Node.js experience is a must for this role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of microservices architecture, RESTful service design, and asynchronous programming patterns.
- Database Skills: Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies for deployment and container management. CI/CD pipeline experience is beneficial.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills to solve complex problems, with a track record of delivering under tight deadlines.

- Location: Must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Irving or Dallas, TX, within a 20-mile radius of our office.
