Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dot Net Senior Developer to join a dynamic team within the Capital Markets vertical. This role requires a highly skilled individual with a proven track record in developing robust, scalable applications and a strong understanding of the financial domain. The position is onsite from Day 1 in New York City, NY, and is exclusively for local candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable .NET applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Build APIs and integrate with third-party services to support critical business processes in the Capital Markets space.
  • Optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and ensure adherence to development standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in real-time within a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in .NET development with a focus on C#, ASP.NET Core, and MVC.
  • Capital Markets Expertise: Prior experience working within the Capital Markets domain is mandatory.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of SQL Server and database management.
    • Experience with RESTful APIs, WCF, and Web Services.
    • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React (preferred).
    • Proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure (preferred).
  • Agility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Location: Must be local to New York City.
