Role Expectations

As a Senior .NET Developer, you’ll leverage your technical skills to design, develop, and deploy reliable software solutions. Your key responsibilities will include creating robust applications, collaborating on API design, and ensuring that all solutions align with best practices for cloud computing, especially within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Application Development
  • Lead the development of applications on the .NET platform, specifically using .NET Core (C#).
  • Design and implement Web Services and APIs that support scalable, high-performance applications.
  1. Front-End Integration
  • Utilize front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS and Bootstrap to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
  1. Database Management
  • Design and maintain complex database structures with a strong focus on SQL.
  • Develop and optimize stored procedures to support high-volume, data-intensive applications.
  1. Cloud-Based Development
  • Utilize Azure Function Apps to deploy and manage cloud-based applications.
  • Work with Azure services, optimizing applications for scalability, reliability, and performance on the cloud.
  1. Collaboration & Best Practices
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA, and DevOps, to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, apply best practices for code quality, and ensure rigorous testing to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Minimum of 12 – 15 years of experience in application development with Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • .NET Core (C#): Deep expertise in .NET Core, especially for API and web service development.
  • Frontend Proficiency: Solid experience with HTML/CSS (preferably with Bootstrap for responsive design).
  • Database Skills: Advanced SQL skills, stored procedure development, and database schema design.
  • Azure Function Apps: Demonstrated experience with Azure, specifically Azure Function Apps for creating serverless solutions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex issues and devise scalable, reliable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to best practices, including code quality, security, and performance optimization.
