We are urgently looking for an experienced JAVA Kotlin Developer/Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA for a hybrid role. This is a C2C opportunity for a professional with 10+ years of experience in Java and Kotlin, with expertise in GraphQL, microservices, and cloud databases like DynamoDB.
Position Overview:
- Job Title: JAVA Kotlin Developer/Engineer

- Experience Required: 10+ years of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable applications using Java, J2EE, and Kotlin.
- Build and maintain microservices architecture with Spring Boot, ensuring the application’s modularity and efficiency.
- Integrate GraphQL APIs for data fetching and interfacing with frontend applications.
- Develop and optimize database solutions using DynamoDB and other NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize the system for high availability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in coding standards and practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Must-have: Experience working with Kotlin for backend development.
- GraphQL expertise for building efficient APIs that interface with modern frontends.
- Experience with DynamoDB or similar NoSQL databases for scalable data management.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between onsite collaboration and remote work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development process.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.
